The K9 Operations Training Corps is a leadership development program designed to prepare experienced handlers to assist instructors and support training operations within the academy.

Members of K.O.T.C help strengthen the training environment by assisting with:
• Demonstrating training exercises
• Supporting instructors during classes
• Helping new students understand leash handling and training structure
• Maintaining organization and flow during group training
• Mentoring students as they progress through their training

K.O.T.C members continue to develop their own handling skills while gaining real-world leadership experience working alongside instructors.

Entry into K.O.T.C is not something students apply for. Members are hand-picked and personally invited by our Master Instructor based on their training performance, consistency, leadership potential, and dedication to the Ghost K9 training process. This program is reserved for students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to their training and have proven themselves capable of representing the standards of Ghost K9 Academy.

Minimum qualifications include:
• Black Leash certification
• Consistent attendance and participation
• Strong dog handling ability
• Professional conduct inside and outside of class

Students who display the highest levels of discipline, control, and leadership may be selected and invited to join the K9 Operations Training Corps. K.O.T.C membership is not requested. It is earned.
