Ghost K9 Academy believes that the strongest leaders are those who understand the student experience firsthand. K.O.T.C exists to develop leaders who understand the path because they have already walked it. By assisting instructors and mentoring other students, members of the program gain valuable leadership experience while continuing to strengthen their own dog handling skills. This program creates a natural progression from student - to mentor- to instructor.

Members progress through several leadership levels as they gain experience and demonstrate leadership ability.

Cadet
Learning the role of assistant instructor and supporting class operations.

Senior Cadet
Taking on additional leadership responsibilities and mentoring newer Cadets.

Operations Specialist
Assisting instructors with training segments and operational support.

Tactical Instructor Apprentice
Preparing for instructor certification and leading portions of class.

Ghost K9 Instructor
Certified instructors responsible for teaching classes and developing future leaders.
