Candidates pursuing the instructor level must demonstrate both technical skill and leadership ability.

Instructor candidates complete:
• Written instructor examination
• Dog handling evaluation
• Teaching evaluation

Before their final instructor evaluation, candidates must also obtain:
• CPR Certification
• AED Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Stop The Bleed Certification

These requirements ensure that Ghost K9 instructors are prepared to handle both training situations and emergency scenarios safely and professionally.

Members of the K9 Operations Training Corps represent the training culture and leadership standards of Ghost K9 Academy.

K.O.T.C members are expected to:
• Lead by example
• Maintain control of their dog at all times
• Support instructors and fellow students
• Represent Ghost K9 Academy with professionalism and integrity

Leadership within K.O.T.C is not about authority. It is about experience.
